GUESS WHAT? THERE'S MORE!!!!

5-
You’ve been thinking about all those turboprop flights during your week in Hartford, and have come to the realization that you *really* like the EMB-120 Brasilia. You’ve also come to the realization that there’s another turboprop aircraft that you weren’t able to work into your outbound odyssey. So with the aid of the OAG, you’ve put together your return trip to Sacramento. It's another four days, and another 16 flights ... with 11 of those on EM2s wearing the colors of four airlines.

Three flights, on two different carriers, will be on a third turboprop; one, also in the livery of a Brasilia operator but operated by a different regional affiliate, is on yet another type. The “orphan” aircraft is operated by a different airline (one that you didn’t fly on the outbound odyssey), and this flight is the only one that makes an enroute stop. None of the aircraft are built by U.S. manufacturers.

You’ll depart on Friday evening on the first of two flights that will take you to a state capitol southwest of BDL. On Saturday you’ll be aboard six flights, basically continuing in a westerly direction, although the fifth connecting point (a major hub) is south and slightly east of the fourth. Sunday’s four flights transit two major hubs; all stops actually lie north of SMF, and the last leg (which lands at the largest city in the state) involves substantial backtracking. Monday you’ll visit the northernmost and westernmost airports of this trip, and be on the longest and shortest segments.

Once again, we need the usual details for each day’s travels:
  • 5A- Two flights (one EM2), two airlines
    • BDL-IAD US EM2
    • IAD-RIC UA J41
  • 5B- Six flights, four airlines; three EM2s, all three instances of another type
    • IAD-RIC CO EM2
    • RIC-GSO CO EM2
    • GSO-MEM NW SF3
    • MEM-ICT NW SF3
    • ICT-DFW DL EM2
    • DFW-AMA AA SF3
  • 5C- Four EM2s, two airlines
    • AMA-DEN UA EM2
    • DEN-GJT UA EM2
    • GJT-SLC DL EM2
    • SLC-BIL DL EM2
  • 5D- Four flights (three EM2s), two airlines
    • BIL-GEG-PDX AS D38
    • PDX-RDM UA EM2
    • RDM-SFO UA EM2
    • SFO-SMF UA EM2
The breakdown is Airlines 1, 6, and 7 – one flight each; Airline 2 – six flights; Airlines 3 and 4 – two flights each; Airline 5 – three flights.
