I just today from CX 830 HKG-JFK in J class. Both ways, I was not able to gain access to their inflight email system called Netvigator. I downloaded the software and registered online prior to the flight. I received a user name and password. When I got onboard, I asked the FA for ths USB cable. I plugged it into the computer and my windows software did not recognize the hardware onboard. I had a feeling it wasn't going to work even before I left. I was stuck making an expensive phone call somewhere near the North Pole.
