Noticed Hilton has opened some rooms here and debating switching a reservation in September. Currently have a honeymoon suite booked at a 4 star hotel (has private hottub on large terrace). Currently a diamond and would pay cash for a room. Only hesitation is the location and not being nearby. Considered the St Regis but did not seem the price increase was worth it, vs this would actually save some money. Thanks for any opinions!
I feel this hotel's location can be a challenge for many. But, they have some spectacular promotions via Hilton Impresario. STAY 3 NIGHTS ONLY PAY FOR 2 RATE, with the Impresario Benefit Suite ($100 Equivalent F&B, full breakfast, upgrade) and also the 2 nights with $200 F&B rates. Of course, dependent on dates but you can squeeze maximum value booking Impressario for 2 or 3 nights. One night is a bit less of a value proposition. (Full disclosure: I book people all the time under the Hilton Impresario Program -- so I am a bit biased towards these programs. Right now, some of the best deals are via the IHG Luxury and Lifestyles Program and Hilton Impresario Program -- both with many properties that have buy 2 get 1 night free rates.)
