Fly American Codeshare Booked through British Airways
Hopefully a quick question which I could not find an answer to with the search feature.
I'm hoping to take advantage of the AAdvantage promotion to maintain elite status with 2000 EQD between September 1st and January 31.
I'm going to Italy and am looking to use the EQD "loophole" of using a partner airline to get miles based upon miles flown instead cost of ticket.
I'm looking to book a premium economy flight on AA metal booked through British Airways. I am assuming that this will qualify for the 20% EQD per mile flown. Am I correct?
FYI- I'm looking to do this since my brother-in-law is going to tag along using AA miles and doesn't want to pay the BA "fuel surcharge". This way we can take the same flight without the BA upcharge...
