I let mine go but I was careful to deactivate the renewal. It was a trial for me based on how often UA was convenient and pre COVID it worked out. Now it makes much more sense to just eat/drink in the terminal.

I took the plunge and switched to Delta’s CC and wow their clubs make UA’s look like a Soviet Supermarket. It would drive incremental business for me. Once the new EWR and LGA are back in play who knows.

As a European it took me a while to get used to the idea of paying for lounges (I still use my BA card for Admirals Club) and I don’t understand why UA can offer something so bad for real money.
