The convenience of the lounge to get soft drinks, light snacks, coffee, and a decent, quick breakfast is one of the key parts of the value prop. for me for full service brands. The lack of a lounge at most US Westins generally makes them unappealing to me. While many Sheratons have lounges, so far I have experienced inferior offerings from them (food quality and variety). So I tend to stick to Marriott or Renaissance for full service with a lounge. Otherwise, might as well just do the limited service most of the time and save on the nightly rate and frequently newer/more recently renovated properties. Each to their own... YMMV....
