The FAA has literally said that most of this year's unruly behavior is directly linked to the mask mandate. That the incidents are related to that is factual / objective data.

The FAA isn't issuing an opinion on the politics of masks - just that they're the source of most of these incidents.

Maybe it’s just indicative of where society has gone the past couple of years.
This sounds like something every generation in history has said when they reach the age of today's boomers. I can hear my grandmother telling me that rock music is ruining society. Go back a couple generations and it was dancing. In the 90s it was videogames. I'm sure I'm missing a few things that have "ruined" society.
