Range isn’t a single number. It depends on payload, weather conditions/winds, etc. You can fly further eastbound with a tailwind than westbound heading into the wind, etc.
Separate, non-range question: If a pilot is already qualified on the different 737NG types, do they need a separate training for each of the MAX variants, or is one generic “MAX differences” training enough for the entire set?
