Stay Report - 7/30 to 7/31

Location: The hotel is located about 8 minutes away from ORF just northwest of US 13 and US 58. Nearby is a Target (walkable from the hotel) along with a bunch of restaurants and stores. You can also drive a few miles to the Tide Light Rail, park for free, and ride that to Downtown Norfolk which is really convenient.



Hotel: The hotel is one of the larger urban style Candlewoods as in it's 5 stories instead of 3. It has a decent sized parking lot up front, a small lobby which has the lending library along with the pantry and thankfully two elevators.



Check In: I was helped by a very friendly employee. My Welcome Amenity points had posted before I arrived which is always nice. All staff I dealt with nothing but nice.

Room: The room was a pretty standard CS room but not in a bad way. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well as did the Wifi, there were outlets near the bed and the bathroom was big enough. Of course the kitchen and desk area were nice to have.







Overall a decent option for Norfolk. I'd be back.
