After another 1.5h of waiting on the Swiss help line I finally managed to speak to someone...they had cancelled the flight back in March without notifying/refunding me (was bought through Expedia) and then put it back on schedule again but without letting me know or rebooking me on it. And because it was book through a travel agent the lady couldn't do anything. Expedia refuses to do anything as well as for them my booking is just cancelled. So I rebooked directly through Swiss so at least we will go (if not cancelled a second time by then) but it looks like I'll struggle to get the cancelled booking refunded...

If the airline cancelled the flight and as a consequence Expedia cancelled your ticket, you are entitiled for refund and Expedia needs to get that for you.
