We have me plus a 12 year old on the Avios 2 for 1 booking and then my husband and the 9 year old on the BA Holidays booking (all next to each other on the plane and all sharing a single BA Hols hotel booking). Between the two bookings, we would definitely have met the minimum spend (the cash booking alone was over £9k).
