The tests in Germany which are performed in old ambulance cars a valid, paid by the german government, and you can perform then daily for free if you are a resident or german, no PCR tests but good to travel to the countries where you don t need an PCR test, in Bavaria even those are for free.
One of these were in the parking lot of Marriott Frankfurt during my whole stay - not exactly an old ambulance, but also not those super-duper mobile test buses you see in Helsinki. As far as I could see, they did not have brisk days
Krista & the health aunties cannot make up their minds - they know that a lot of test should be made, but "people might use it for travel" so let's not make it easy, offer it only for symptomatic people, with difficult prebooking process . That 20% of the cases are asymptotic? Who cares. (and I think that numbers are now higher, with the 1x or 2x vaccinated showing less symptoms if at all)
