Completely disagree. Every time I have used T2 precheck has either been closed or merged into the ‘normal’ security lines with a card that lets you have precheck ‘lite’ benefits. Never cleared TSA in T2 in less than 10 minutes and more often closer to 20 when traffic is at normal levels. Also, the gate houses in T2 are weirdly small so the moment a flight is called, the gate lice all swarm that particular gate spilling out into the areas people use to move around the terminal, not necessarily corridors but the general walkway/pathways.
While T4 also sucks due to its extreme amounts of walking, I can’t remember a time where it’s taken me more than 5 minutes to be through precheck and on my way whether I’ve been flying Delta or any other number of airlines. I’ll choose T4 and walk till my feet hurt if it means never enduring the T2 nightmare plus the horrid bus ever again.
Travel through JFK more. T4 security is terrible. I'd much rather check bags and go through TSA at T2. I think many FT's are in the same boat.
