not to disagree with the quote, but to be perfectly clear, this was an opinion piece in Forbes talking about the situation ... the contributing author, according to the notes at the bottom of the article and his byline respectively, is the former CEO of Spirit who "write(s) about airlines and travel to explain this crazy industry."

and in the next paragraph of the article he states:
"But the bigger issues of violence normalization and personal entitlement will continue to keep some people on edge and cause problems when things don't go their way onboard a flight."
