I've stayed at this property a handful of times over the last several months and I've really grown to love it. As a previous poster mentioned, it's old but doesn't feel tired or worn out. Front desk staff has always been kind and eager to upgrade me to the best room available as Globalist. The suites are nice and spacious but I usually travel alone so I prefer the corner king rooms. They let in a lot of natural light and the ATL skyline views are lovely. I've received mixed service at the bar but the food is surprisingly good at both the bar and Cassis restaurant (I second the bagel and lox recommendation above). Lounge is still closed to regular guests and is instead being temporarily used as an airline crew room. $25 bar credit still applies for Globalists. The gym is great although I can't comment on the sauna/steam room. The defining feature of this property to me is the giant waterfall and Japanese zen garden behind the hotel. It's a great place to enjoy your morning coffee if it's not too hot out. Very peaceful and feels like an oasis in the heart of Buckhead. Haven't had the chance to enjoy the pool, but it looks nice and well maintained. Great hotel overall and I always look forward to coming back.
