Booked seat+bag flights for Jan 2-10 last week. PE was ~$250 each way more.

Made a dummy booking again a couple days later and PE on the return leg was $15 more than the Y fare I had paid, so I jumped at the opportunity to upgrade (paying cash)

Again, a few days later the inbound PE changed and was now ~$500 more than Y. Interesting to see the price of PE jump around so much in less than a week.

At $2,500 return I won’t bother trying for J, it’s simply too much to justify for such a short flight, especially when I paid under 900 for Y there and PE back. Would be nice the price of PE drops on my outbound leg but not getting my hopes up.
