UA is obviously seeing great NPS scores to Hawaii with all the Polaris 767/777s in use, and they would like to continue to cultivate the high-yield premium segment, just using a platform for more appropriate F cabin capacity. The volume is also highly desirable in the hub-hub domestic network.
If the Hawaii demand is that great, could we see 777s replace all the narrowbodies to HNL from all the UA hubs or is the current Hawaii demand going to be short-lived when other leisure markets open up again? What's the current gate availability in HNL these days?
