Seems like from reading the thread it shouldnt be an issue, but just to confirm

If flying UA on a revenue ticket LAX - ORD and then connecting to an LH award ticket ORD - FRA - DUS, UA will through check my bags all the way from LAX to DUS by providing my Lufthansa PNR at check in?
