Centurion lounge alcohol service restrictions and delays (Consolidated)

Does Amex have an official policy in Centurion lounges of only 1 drink to be consumed at a time?

At SFO centurion lounge 4 pm 7/31, a Male bartender (I got his name) rudely came to table, accosted my wife and I and took our drinks away saying only one drink to be consumed at a time. Wasn't communicated to us before. We have no issue w/ the policy, but rude treatment is unacceptable.

We had a total of 2 drinks each. Had not been drinking before. Was calm the whole time, not acting up.

We have used centurion lounges numerous times before, never experienced this. I checked the official Amex lounge terms and conditions, nowhere does this mention this policy. Only mentions you must be of legal drinking age.

Anyone else experience this? I complained to Amex but only got a generic response.
