The most scenic section is Denver to Grand Junction. You start the climb up the Front Range about 20 minutes after leaving Denver, you climb the face of the Front Range providing spectacular views over the Denver, Boulder and the start of the Great Plains. After that is the Moffatt Tunnel under the Continental Divide. Over the course of the day you follow the Colorado River through Byers Canyon, roadless, spectacular Gore Canyon, Glenwood Canyon, DeBeque Canyon.
