jtav599 covered the split (and associated history) quite well. The Citi card used to offer a decent extended warranty program as well as a really phenomenal price protection program. I believe both are gone now.

We have our traditional banking (checking, savings, etc.) with Citi so I'm still hanging on to their Aadvantage card for the Group 5 Boarding. If we banked with someone else, I might have picked up the Barclaycard just to try it out. We don't buy enough gas for the point bonus to be more than negligible.
