Just tried that number as well, but it does work with ATT, e.g. announces as this number cannot be connected; whereas the both the GS and 1K number would be connected with/thru ATT.

I have called dozens of times from Europe and Asia; last time was in June. Never had encountered this issue. Might be some tech stuff. Just hope they will fix it soon.
