The potential restriction for toddlers relates to the positioing of air masks relative to seat numbers, and on some Airbus frames this alternates by row, but can include row 1. In CE this is usually an issue if there are 2 toddlers rather than 1.. MMB does show the correct options by aircraft type, however if there is an aircraft change then you will be moved if necessary.
