Just wanted to say thanks to the captain of my Tuesday redeye LAS-ORD that was diverted to MKE because of thunderstorms that closed ORD on Wednesday morning. Captain kept everybody informed throughout the flight, and when we were on the ground in MKE waiting for fueling, came out of the cockpit, stood at the front of the F cabin, and explained to us the situation IRL and not over the intercom.
