Just our of curiosity, does anybody here believe the SM status plus miles flown goes into the equation??
As I have described elsewhere, I also had to go to the gate lottery at least half of the time until I reached 100K MQM's by June. After that, on by-and-large the same routes, I have consistently been cleared for upgrades at the 100 hour mark and haven't been at a gate lottery for now m ore than 4 months!!
