I got mine a couple of years back, interviewed on the day it expired at LAX. Got the new card about a week or so later in the mail. I asked the officer doing the interview and he told me that since I was approved I would be in the system by the next day. No problem a couple of days later with Pre-Check so I assume that the system recognized me.
