I renewed my GE and had a Zoom video interview this week with a CBP Officer at O’Hare airport. The approval appeared within 10 minutes of completing the interview.

The Zoom interview was an option via the website but I had to keep checking a few weeks for an appointment time to become available. They seem to release them in small batches.

The renewal though was backdated to the expiry date of my last GE so this renewed one only has 4.5 years left on it.
