Isn’t Japanese “corned beef” the same kind of thing that is called “corned beef” in the U.K.? I think it’s called “corned beef hash” in the States.
I’m used to calling it “Salt beef” (the good stuff that doesn’t crumble into a mush on your tongue). I don’t know how you’d differentiate the two foods in Japan.
Corned beef hash is “hashed” with potatoes in the US I thought? Anyways I miss Jewish delis…
