As I said in June, if you intend to travel to the U.S. this year, go via Mexico (Cabo or Cancun depending on your onward travel destination).

If you’re vaccinated, you can also travel via Canada (must be more palatable for most folks here than Mexico) come September.

I guess that the Biden administration is closely monitoring what comes out of Canada. In best case scenario, the U.S. may follow in Canada’s footsteps in time for Thanksgiving (forbidding another Delta-type variant).
