The problem is that Denver's CLEAR kiosks are split between Pre-Check and non-Pre-Check on opposite sides of security. My guess is that OAK only has one set of kiosks, and you're split to PC and non-PC after verification?
I'm also guessing she'll be out of luck in MCO since I won't be around with my CLEAR membership unless I buy her a $60 family membership (she will be carrying a state-issued REAL ID on her travels).
I've sent an e-mail to CLEAR about this, but I'm still waiting to hear back.
the problem is (1) Clear needs a BP to scan, and it chokes on a gate pass, and (2) Gate pass never has precheck because it’s not a real BP and doesn’t include your profile.
the solution (at least it worked for me) is to scan the child’s BP then use your own iris scan. At OAK the precheck scanner is merged with the <whole body scanner>. However the TSA agent let me child use the regular WTMD and surprisingly let me follow her through it. So i got the precheck experience but No guarantees this will work at DEN.
she will be SOLat MCO on clear but could still use precheck if she has it. As a minor She doesn’t need ID but doesn’t hurt to have it.
