Booked King Deluxe Cathedral View, upgraded to Executive Suite

How are the rooms?
My room was a corner room on a 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. There was a separate living area, spacious bathroom with rainforest-type shower & bathtub and one additonal toilet next to the living area. Plenty of room for single occupancy.

How is the exec. lounge?
Lounge was closed due to COVID situation

What was good and what was bad?
Good: Member recognition, excellent service during the check-in process and in the restaurant
Bad: No minibar and no lounge due to the coronavirus, breakfast area was rather small and crowded

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Paid cca 90 EUR for an Executive Suite, which was a very good deal. After this stay, I should receive a free night certificate as I have registered for a Free Night offer after renewal of my Ambassador status. All in all, very good value for money.
