The elite breakfast benefit was defined as one hot sandwich, one coffee/juice/water, and one piece of fruit. I asked to swap the sandwich for a pastry and was told no. I took the $10 F&B amenity and spent it the night before on habanero mac and cheese from the hotel restaurant. Nice peaceful outdoor courtyard for dining.

Proactively offered a late checkout by the front desk clerk. I solicited a room with a shower/tub combo or bathtub, was told those were rare, but got one. I'll call that my Titanium upgrade.

One quirk is that the thermostat isn't really responsive. (I set it to very cold and it didn't get there, but it got cold enough. I was comfortable.
