I have no idea how our reduced-thrust data compares to any other airline's. I've never noticed a difference.

Reduced thrust takeoffs are a good thing. They reduce engine wear and reduce the (already very low) probability that an engine will fail during the takeoff. If, at any time, you need the extra thrust, it's right there for you to use by pushing the thrust levers forward.

Our takeoff performance data system looks at the aircraft, weight, runway, current weather conditions, etc., and comes up with an optimal solution for thrust and flap setting for the takeoff.
