I too had some trouble getting points to post, but it was the initial points that were the trouble (the 4,000). The 1,000 posted right away as did the first few 500. Then there was a delay in the arrival of the 500's until last month I received like 6 all at once.

I just called AMEX, as it has been 25 weeks since the 4M were supposed to post and she authorized it to be done right away and provided me with an additional 1M for my 'trouble'. I expect they have to use that 1M softener quite a bit...
