Here's a suggestion: Any member who is truly dedicated to using the word 'hate' around me will likely find a deaf ear. The tone and the manner in which anyone would deliver a comment or concern about another member in this way is not only embarassing to that member (the one making the comment) - my POV of course - but a slight to what I thought the spirit of FlyerTalk to be. You know, I put up daily with a lot of things on FlyerTalk, more so proabably than any single member, but I can't say that I even got to the level of hating anyone, even those that really have really dissed this Web site by their antics. So, it's unlikely that you'll learn anything from me, but learn this: I'm going to say with the path I've had for a long, long time of FlyerTalk, and that is to restrict as best I can the public execution of any members' reputation. This path was started well before we ever had volunteers/Moderators. Sometimes I have not been able to act in this area as fast as I wish because of other commitments to time, but it remains my one pledge to all members of FlyerTalk.

Here's what you do: bring the matter to my attention via PM, less likely to get lost in the hundreds of daily emails I receive. Address the topic as "concern about a member on FlyerTalk." When telling me of your concern, please be as psecif as possible, with several relevant examples of the interaction between you and this member. The most important part is to fess up to your own misdeeds in any manner if there are any. Most times I'm presented with a general 'they did this' and I remain an angel dialog. Something that is really cool to do is suggest a way in which you think this 'problem' might be resolved in the best interests of FlyerTalk. Help me help you. This is the way these things get done.

I'm not a peacenik, a hippie or a greenie. I'm simply a regular human being who just doesn't think that the word 'hate' is good for your temperment, your well being and the future of FlyerTalk.

Sorry for the lecture, but you seemed quite serious about this.
