It's not unusual for sweepstakes sponsors to state that prizes will be shipped 6-8 weeks after the close of the sweepstakes. So if the sweepstakes is still ongoing, you would have to wait for the closing date, then add 6 to 8 weeks before even thinking about receiving your prize.

It can be a tad aggravating - but it is their sweepstakes and their rules, and the prizes are free, afterall (even the ones we have to pay taxes on!). All we can do is smile and say thank you very much.
