I got this same email on Friday, and my GS comes from a corporate PassPlus contract.

I'm expecting that while there's been nothing said about a PassPlus status extension that when January rolls around I'll be able to renominate myself given that the business rationale used to extend earned GS would apply equally to contractually purchased GS.


Here's the text of the email:

Travel has changed a lot in the past year, and as the world starts to open up, we wanted to share how we'll be handling invitations for United GlobalServices® status for the 2022 program year for our corporate customers. Since you were nominated for GlobalServices status through your company's affiliation with United, there will be an annual selection process through your employer or sales representative in January 2022.

Your company contact that selected you for GlobalServices status will allocate nominations for 2022 GlobalServicesstatus using the same process from previous years. If you have questions about the extension of your GlobalServices membership, please contact the company travel manager, administrator or sales contact who originally nominated you.
