Easy way to check points vs cash is to look at your normal booking and switch between point view and cash view.
BUT
Points that you never use are worth ZERO. ZERO.
If your next flight needs 24,000 points and you have 23,000 - tough luck.
or
If your next flight needs 24,000 and you have 25,000 - the 1,000 points left are of zero value until you get enough for another flight.
