He could burn through more than half in 1 year with the Business Plat at a fixed 1.5+ cent / MR redemption on J/F airfare or airfare on a chosen airline. That would get him about $22,700+ worth of airfare in year 1 and $17,700+ worth of airfare in year 2 (not counting for newly accumulated MR). That’s around $40,500 total.

With a business centurion, he could burn through all of it in 1 year at a 2 cent / MR fixed redemption on J/F. That’s about $54,000 worth of airfare. Obviously the Centurion AF and initiation fee is essentially that difference and the path to getting it is not simple.

But given that OP said he’s not interested in traveling a ton, this is probably a moot point.
