But what's with serving margarine in Business Class? How much money could that possibly save them? AF even serves butter in coach.
Well in Albert Heijn 250g of the AH brand butter is €2,39 while 500g of the AH brand margarine is €0,75, with ~35 J seats and with the small butter having something like 10g that would save them circa €2,82 per flight, one can't dismiss that.
On a more serious note though, during a recent CPT-AMS flight they did serve butter, the rest was indeed very much subpar.
