William, the message concerns the Mr.'s SPG AMEX account and his SPG stays using his SPG AMEX card.
A couple of stay bonuses did post promptly the day following the regular point posting, but several others did not. From this, I assumed that the time for posting this bonus was very soon. Maybe it's now taking longer for AMEX to post the bonuses based on the info from the last poster, but that's still no excuse for wholly irrelevant responses from AMEX that offer no assurances that the bonuses were earned or will post. I called AMEX CS after getting these goofy replies and, amazingly, was told that if I didn't get the bonus, it was a Starwood problem with not posting them, as AMEX had already sent ANY bonuses that had been earned. When I asked what, if ANY, bonuses had been sent by AMEX, the CSR said she couldn't tell me and that I needed to call Starwood as only Starwood could help me. I did call Starwood and, as I expected, the Starwood CSR had no idea what the AMEX CSR could have been talking about.
