On the outbound segment, it let me (50k) automatically pick a 'preferred' seat near the front, but then x'ed out all the seats near the front for Mrs. PITUK (no status). Didn't even give the option of paying for it. It didn't do it on the Latitude fare, since presumably she gets to choose any seat.

Do companions no longer get seat access next to someone with status? Does the fact that I used my buddy pass affect this? My upgrades have already confirmed so I'm not too bothered, but am interested to know if this is a website bug or just how booking companions works now. It's been ages since we've flown together.
