It seems like QX crews are more likely to follow official AS catering protocol, particularly in F on short haul flights like intra-CA. This means you may get a box of water on QX or full beverage service and a snack basket on OO. We had full beverage and snack service on a Skywest operated LAX-FAT flight that should have been boxes of water only in F. AS seems to have recently added beverage and snack service on select ultra short haul flights that are over 220 miles which still doesn't include flights like LAX-FAT and SEA-PDX.
