Its just the Australia to New Zealand bubble that is being paused for the next 8 weeks, you can still freely travel to Australia (provided you meet all of the local state requirements).
e.g you couldn't fly MEL>AKL>BNE but you can fly AKL-BNE no problems. Just note that less flights will operate, would expect it to be down to an daily AKL-SYD,BNE,MEL service only on NZ.
