Sadly no the the initial document check is just traveldoc.aero. That is just for COVID. We use Timatic for for immigration matters.

We are aware that Traveldoc is not always correct. But it is the basic standard. We can always call the PAF in Paris to see if they will accept a certain situation - ie child number 3's passport expires within less than 6 months - will they accept?

Suggest to anyone traveling AF, or any other carrier.: Check in online. Read carefully what documents are needed. Do they need to be printed? Or can they be a digital file Arrive at airport 3 hours before departure. If you are sending your parents who are 80 and can't navigate a smartphone, don't just drop them off curbside and take off. If you arrive with 8 bags 10 minutes before checkin closes for a flight and your docs are not in order, you will be flying on the next available flight. Not fun for anyone.

Italy Spain Portugal Greece etc require advance online COVID requirements like QR codes, Passenger Locator Forms etc. Figure out if you need. a PCR or Antigen test even if you have been vaccinated.

It is really sad to deny boarding to customers. Spend the time and do your research. Check in on Airfrance.com - it will advise you of what you need.

As frontline workers, we have suffered a lot of abuse from uniformed customers - do your homework. And realize we document records. The people at the lounge and gate will know what passengers have been advised. YES - you need to wear a surgical mask or KN95/N95 mask on an an AF flight out of JFK.

It's not that hard to have a successful trip. But it's not like traveling pre March 2020.

Safe travels everyone!
