Jon Maiman, the condo idea sounds great. I don't know how my wife feels about us cooking on a vacation but if it means we save money, she may be alright. If you don't mind, can you suggest some of your favourite condo's? I'm guessing you can't get these on priceline.

Condos are great $$ savers even if you don't cook - good for inexpensive cold breakfasts, picnic lunches & afternoon, happy hour munchies. We stock up on drinks & appetizers, wine, etc - will save you a lot of $$. Then, take her out & buy her a nice dinner- it's your anniversary!
