I'm actually glad I got the ePassport. I don't much care for the look of the NextGen one. Also, my other passport (Norwegian) has a polycarbonate biodata page. Not only did that cause me problems back in the day (early polycarbonate pages got brittle with age and would come loose from the passport,) it also makes the passport bulkier. It may be more secure, though.
