There is also the option of the old Heathrow Connect (whatever it's called now). I used that last year. Took about 10 minutes longer than HEX, but a hell of a lot cheaper.
This is now defunct in that form but resurrected as TfL Rail which will eventually become Elizabeth Line when the entire line finishes.
