Here is this week's update from the ECDC, 14 days cumulated infection rate per 100,000 population.



As suggested last week, a lot of places have seen their rates double since last week, thanks to Delta. The rates we can see from early this week means that next week's figures are certain to be higher still. A few places appear to have kept it under control at least for the time being, notably Germany and Canada. However death rates in these listed countries all continue to be relatively low compared to previous surges.
