Austrian.com now on group-wide booking platform

As part of the adc.Evolution program, Austrian.com successfully migrated last week to the group-wide booking platform already in use for the websites of Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa.

With this, customers can benefit from new offers and features, for instance, the access to entire Lufthansa Group offer on Austrian.com. The group-wide offer also applies to additional services such as baggage bookings and seat reservations. Moreover, they can now easily change their seats online at any time via “My bookings” for every flight of a Lufthansa Group Airline and hold their planned booking in their shopping cart for up to 48 hours. Previously, if customers wanted to add products and services after they had completed their booking, this was only possible by credit card payment. Now, they have the opportunity to choose from several payment options like PayPal, Sofort, etc.

Coming soon: When making credit card payments, customers will be able to select the currency in which their card is to be charged which allows them to save fees. Also, the online booking of an additional bag for every flight of a Lufthansa Group Airline will be possible, too. Austrian Airlines is now the third Lufthansa Group Hub Airline on the group-wide booking platform, the migration of SWISS.com will follow in autumn.
